Sometimes I feel like a sticky bee.
When bees fly, their bodies generate static electricity. Pollen grains have an opposite charge, which makes them stick to the bee’s fuzzy body.
When I get a jolt of anxiety, I’m more likely to pick up the beliefs, values, and goals that come into contact with me. Instagram says I need to eat ten thousand grams of protein a day? ON IT. Colleague is working hard toward a certain goal. Maybe I should be doing that too? Friend cares passionately about an issue? Oh man, am I an uncaring monster?
